267: Who else has work days as diverse as we get in the auction industry!?
I worked more hours last week than any week since last May. To catch up with my build queue—like many of y’all—I had to work Saturday.
That weekend shift encapsulated the diversity of what fills my three iMac monitors in a given workday. I created advertising for
• an 8,400+SF oceanfront home in Rhode Island
• construction equipment in Tennessee
• farm machinery in Arkansas
• bakery equipment in Michigan
• three estate sales filled with recreational vehicles, vintage coin-operated carousels, and antique tractors in Illinois.

If you’d have told the college senior version of me that my day job would look like that, he’d have asked, “Wait. What? How!?” I’m so grateful for the auctioneers who trust me with their livelihoods and their sellers’ hopes.
