268: Was this May 2026 auction foreshadowed in a 1980s TV show?

A big smile crossed my face after reading this email from Kristin Halfhill-Larimore after her recent multipar auction. “Yesterday’s auction was a tremendous success! We had 40 registered bidders, and the online-only multi-par auction was scheduled to end at 12 noon with a soft close. We had bidding extensions for just over an hour and a half, and a property that we anticipated bringing somewhere around $600,000 brought a high bid of $954,000!!!”

That paired well with this email from Pete Ramsey after his land auction last week: “We had a very successful sale today … The good news is we exceeded the seller’s expectations by almost 30%.”

As the A-Team used to say in the 1980s, “I love it when a plan comes together.”
