254: What asset category performed best in Facebook ads during 2025?

Biplane’s 2025 Facebook advertising results
Last year, I built 798 Facebook campaigns. Aircraft auctions led the way in terms of efficiency metrics, but multiple asset categories weren’t far behind.
If you’d like to see this chart but enlarged for easier comparison, send me an email. I’ll forward you a bigger image. (I also have charts of the 2023 & 2024 results, if you’d like to compare and search for trends.) I’m transparent with my anonymized results because they help us all calibrate our expectations.

Auctions in 5 time zones
In 2025, my clients and I partnered on campaigns spanning 4 North American time zones and Greenwich Mean Time. (For auctions where we had multiple locations, I chose just one address per campaign.)

A new Biplane annual record
Last year, across 853 campaigns spanning 42 states, I marketed 940 auctions(11 more than last year’s record). April saw more job orders—87 campaigns—than any other month. October came in a close second with 86, and then March with 83.

Call the moving trucks!
In 2025, my clients and I marketed 554 properties together across 349 real estate campaigns. (I counted multi-tract land sales as one property each unless the parcels were in different locations. I considered parcels contiguous even if a road ran between them.)

Slight changes in bidding format proportions
In 2025, my clients submitted only 4 sealed bid auctions. My percentage of offline-only auctions blipped higher than last year, thanks to more live real estate auctions.
